The pony you have is Masquerade, a Twinkle Eye pony from the first issue (1985-86). You'll get more hits if you list her name. I'd buy her in a heartbeat, but I already have one.

what do you mean Cami? just curious!
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Just less threads about things people have listed on ebay. I normally skip over them, which is just fine, but it almost always seems like people post a thread, and no one, or very few people comment, and the original poster bumps it a few times. It seems to me that if people aren't responding to the point where a thread has to be bumped, few people care.what do you mean Cami? just curious!
But then, skipping over them is just fine for me, too, and I'll continue to do that, as I normally do .
I didn't mean for this to sound rude, if it did. I'm sure there are plenty of people who do check to see if someone has some good things offered, but it seems like a waste to start a thread when you only have one or two AG things up.
And, to make a point, I'm creating less of a hassle for other people. They can post here instead of making a new thread.
Charge what you think is fair if peopel agree they will buy if they don't they won't - or you hope they don't.
Paypal charges an arm and a leg to take in a payment - I made a $300 sale and they charged me over $10.00 - Shipping was only $19.00 or so - How do you re-coup that - For E-Bay sales you have to figure it into any charges that you sell and that includes S/H
You have some cute things everyone
Alright ladies, let's break it up! Here are some facts about ebay and paypal and shipping costs.
1. Priority mail one pound anywhere in US is 4.05. It takes a lot of AG items to weigh one pound.
2. Delivery confirmation is FREE, not 50 or 60 cents, if you use Paypal for your shipping labels.
3. Everyone charges differently for shipping, and that's their choice. In my experience (5 years as a seller and buyer), those who charge the least for shipping usually never make any real money on ebay, not because they don't overcharge, but because they don't charge enough. I have received many, many items that cost the seller more to ship than what they charged me, and they ultimately lost money after all their fees were deducted. Those who "overcharge", like maybe 8 or 10 dollars when it only costs 4.05 to ship may not be as popular to buy from, but then, if I can get something worth $25 for .99 and have to pay $10 to have it shipped, I am the winner overall.
4. Paypal does not protect sellers from getting ripped off by buyers when they do not use delivery confirmation, and that is usually only available on priority mail. Handwritten mailing labels and first class or parcel post without delivery confirmation is just a recipe for disaster when you sell on ebay, and you will in all probability get burned eventually if that is how you choose to do business. And last of all,
5. Be fair, treat others as you would like to be treated, but protect yourself with professional shipping techniques and make sure you're not losing more than you're making.
Now, let's get back to seeing who's selling what!

This thread has been pruned to get it back on track. A couple of things to remember on this board:
1. This board exists for friendship and support.
2. You are welcome to post links to your auctions but only for American Girl products and directly related items.
3. Please do not mention any e-Bay sellers by name except for praise.
Thanks for your cooperation.
The pony you have on auction, if you would put wether the hair has been cut or not and if it has pony cancer or no - it would be helpful too. That is an important consideration for a lot of buyer of pony's, myself included!
